ODN Europe Board Elections
Following our recent announcement in the newsletter, the ODN Europe Board is seeking interested individuals to come forward to lead and contribute as members of the Board to the continued growth of ODN Europe. Our work continues to build the theory and practice of Organisation Development, to create and grow as a practitioner community and to become a pan-European organisation. ODN Europe exists to support those entering the field and those who are experienced.
In order to continue our growth, there are specific roles, experience and expertise that we are seeking to complement the existing skill set of the existing Board members. We are seeking individuals who are able to take a joint lead/lead role in the following areas:
- Finance and Governance: the ask here is to work to together with the existing lead of finance and governance to support this portfolio and in particular to work on revenue generation.
- Building Corporate Relationships: the ask here is to develop relationship with organization in the private sector to grow our relationships and to support building the community of internal practitioners. The later would be for all sectors.
- Member Engagement: the ask here is to contribute to the existing member engagement portfolio covering the newsletter, social media work, regional groups. The focus in particular is to develop connection and relationship in the wider European community.

The Board meets virtually the last Friday of each month (08:00-09:00hrs UK time) and twice a year for a face-to-face meeting. The next dates for the face to face events (London) are 28-29 October 2019, and 3-4 February 2020.
Board positions are usually held for a three year period.
An application form and an outline of the Expectations of Board Members are at the bottom of this page. Applications should be submitted by 12 noon on 13 September 2019. Should more than three applications be received, the members of ODN Europe will be asked to vote for their preferred candidates via an anonymous online voting platform. Candidate profiles will only display the 500 words that have been entered into Section 3 of the application form, so please ensure that you complete this section.
Two virtual meetings will be held for anyone seeking further information to speak to members of the Board. These will be held on 30 August 2019 at 10:00-11:00hrs (BST) and 5 September 2019 at 10:00-11:00hrs (BST).
