ODN Europe board goodbyes and welcome
We are delighted to confirm that we have four new Board members. Thank you to all who voted and also to the individuals who put themselves forward.
The new members are Frosina Ristovska who is based in Macedonia and Rachel Honey, David Nicholson and Gareth Evans who are all based in the UK. You will be able to access brief profiles for each here.
We had a recent face-to-face Board meeting at the end of October, where we were able to review the work of the various portfolios and begin to discuss who will be the contact point/lead for our different work streams going forward for the next few years. More details of this will be shared in the January newsletter.
Meanwhile, we would like to take this opportunity to provide gratitude and appreciation to the Board members who are stepping down or have stepped down. Their contribution over the last 3-4 years has helped to work with others to build ODN Europe and move from an emerging organisation to an vibrant community that it is today.
Julie Beedon stepped down in April 2019, she led the conference portfolio for many years. Gifford Tanser has stepped down in October 2019 and he has provided a voice for multinational organisations and for the internal practitioner in the private sector. Maxine Craig will be stepping down at the end of this year. She has for a long time being doing work with member engagement with its various components of newsletter, social media and being a link for the connect groups. More recently Maxine has been working on making sure the Governance infrastructure is up to date.
We wish them well as they step down from the formal roles on the board and delighted to know that we can connect with them as they remain members of the ODN Europe community.
