Gifford is the Director Organisation Development EMEA for Medtronic, a medical devices company, partnering with leaders in pioneering Medtronic’s transformation to an integrated health services and value based healthcare organisation and building the capability and capacity of the organisation for ongoing development and change.

He has worked in the engineering, hi-tech and pharmaceutical sectors across a broad spectrum of human resource roles within large multinational organisations. He has extensive European and global experience operating within ‘change’ environments ranging from acquisitions and joint ventures to market places undergoing significant turmoil.

He has introduced and supported approaches to manage complex change whilst developing HR and leaders’ OD capability in order to shift organisations’ culture.  Gifford has a strong desire to create a European community of OD practice that will lead to a network.
