Space for white people to do their own work. This is often not considered and spoken of. These conversation spaces give opportunity to be curios and gritty about own your whiteness and what that means in being an ally and showing up in anti racist work. As well as opportunity to learn about for example -white fragility, power and privilege and inter-sectionality, there will opportunity to discuss the difference between being non – racist and anti racist. For those of you already working in this space, we welcome you sharing about your work.

These conversations are about sharing and discussing what we can do as OD practitioners to support our various client systems to begin or enhance their anti racism work and also how we integrate this orientation into every day practice when we intervene. These conversations are for both internal and external practitioners. It gives us a chance to consider how bold we want to be and at the same time recognise how organisations and leadership might be uncertain how to do this work or how easy it is to loose focus on anti racism when grouping together Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the same frame. How do we help organisations to know the difference between these frames and stay focused for this purpose.
