Expanding our reach: what is being asked of us as OD practitioners?

OD is not a language all client systems speak fluently; and we believe that OD approaches to working in organisational systems could benefit more clients.

What is being asked of us as OD practitioners at the moment? What are we seeing that we could also help with? How do we best meet our clients where they are to grow the field for everyone’s benefit?

This session is intended as a collective inquiry into how we might better grow the field of OD in service of the organisations we work with; as well as those we don’t yet work with.

Experienced OD practitioners from Mayvin and Metalogue will host the sessions, sharing:

• What they are hearing is needed at the moment in client organisations
• What questions this is leaving them holding individually
• Some frames for “the work” that they find helpful

However, these reflections are intended to support a collective sharing of experience and inquiry. We hope this will be an opportunity for us to learn from each other, and all leave clearer on the questions that we are holding for our individual practice.
